Son of Unbridled's Song and Proposal, whose first three foals are all stakes winners

As a juvenile, SILVER CITY broke his maiden setting all the pace his second time out at Keeneland and returned to post all the fractions in a Churchill Downs allowance event to score a 101 Beyer Speed Figure with an 8-plus length victory over future Grade 1 SW GENERAL QUARTERS.

Returning at 3, SILVER CITY posted a 4-length victory in Oaklawn's Dixieland S. and followed that up with a pace-setting second in the $250,000 Grade 3 Southwest S.

In his final start at the Fair Grounds, SILVER CITY posted the fractions of :21.65, :45, :56.73 and 1:09.24 with a triple digit Beyer over SWs WRITTEN IN STONE, TEXAS BIRDSTONE and CITIZEN.

SILVER CITY is a half-brother to SWs ELOPE (100 Beyer) and INITIATION, with all three being out of SPW Proposal ($115,021), a full sister to G1pl GSW MULTIPLE CHOICE (107 Beyer, $692,450).

This is the excellent family of 2010 Grade 1 SW TELLING ($846,049), juvenile Champion TOMAHAWK, Grade 1 SW WELL CHOSEN, Grade 2 SW ACADEMY AWARD, Grade 3 SW IN CONTENTION, etc.
